NON-THREATENING BRIGHTON FIREARMS CLASSES TAUGHT BY POLICE AND MILITARY PROFESSIONALS

When it comes to firearms training, experience matters. That’s why, at Ragnar Tactical, we hire professional instructors with military, police, and SWAT experience. Firearms safety is emphasized throughout our training curriculum. We offer top-tier firearms training for residents in Brighton and throughout northern Colorado.

Whether you’re interested in the basic pistol and permit class, our rifle and carbine classes, or active shooter training, our classes go beyond the classroom. We feature hands-on shooting experience at our own firing range. Beyond firearms training in the Brighton area, we also offer self-defense classes, and advanced pistol classes that teach advanced techniques such as firing with one hand, firing on the move, and other real-world tactical situations.

OUR CLASSES

BASIC PISTOL
& PERMIT

The State of Colorado requires applicants for a concealed carry permit to submit proof of a firearm’s safety training class. Whether you intend to seek a concealed carry permit or you just want to know how to safely use a semi-automatic pistol or revolver, our basic pistol and permit class is for you. Like all of our firearms training in the Brighton area, this basic gun class includes hands-on shooting at our firing range and is taught by experienced instructors whose goal is to teach you safe, effective use of your own firearm.

ADVANCED
CLASSES

If you want to go beyond the basic pistol course, our advanced classes offer an opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge. Our advanced pistol course provides instruction in advanced techniques and real-world situations. Our steel shooting classes prepare students with the skills necessary for shooting competitions.

RIFLE & CARBINE CLASSES

Firing a rifle long distance is about more than aiming and pulling the trigger. Our precision rifle course will teach you the discipline and techniques of long-range shooting. Successful graduates will learn to shoot up to 400 yards. Our urban rifle courses teach students how to use a carbine for self-defense purposes, including weapons handling skills like reloading and clearing malfunctions.

ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE

Like most dangerous situations, active shooter situations are not common. However, like any other dangerous environment, knowing what to do in an active shooter event can be the difference between being safe and becoming a victim. Our active shooter response classes train for armed and unarmed situations and are taught by experienced law enforcement or military personnel.

SELF DEFENSE CLASSES

Our self-defense classes are taught by instructors with extensive real life experience. We teach the skills needed to defend yourself in real-world situations, such as escaping a hold and using an array of strikes. We also teach the principles of weapons retention for when you are attacked while armed.
